What We're Built on
Three things have guided us since we opened: a commitment to putting clients first in every decision we make, the depth of expertise to give advice you can rely on, and a standard of trust that we work to earn over time.
The Standard we work by Meet the team
A team held to the same commitments this firm was founded on.
Every advisor here is guided by the same core priorities: clients come first, expertise matters, and the work doesn't end when the initial plan is in place. Leadership at this firm means taking personal ownership of those standards, not simply agreeing to them in principle. The people on this team were chosen because they share that commitment, and because they understand how much the guidance they give can matter to the people receiving it.

My interest in financial advising and the great good it can have on an entire family started at an early age as I watched my family move through life transitions. I went on to study at Southeastern Louisiana University, where a finance professor became both a mentor and an influence that pointed me toward a career in investments and financial planning. After graduating, I worked with well-regarded planners and advisors in the area. I started in a supporting role and eventually took on full responsibility for managing client portfolios. In 2017, I founded Trosclair Wealth Management to build something grounded in what I had learned and seen firsthand about what this work can mean to a family.
More than two decades in, the work that still gets me is helping someone at a pivotal moment think clearly and move forward with confidence. My clients tell me I make things simple and easy to understand, and that I take the time to understand what actually matters to them. That is the approach I bring to every conversation: start with your life, not your portfolio.
Outside the office, my life revolves around my family, my faith, and my community. My wife and I have been married since 2008. Our three daughters keep us on the go with softball, basketball, and music. I coach basketball at St. Theresa Middle School, which has become one of the most genuinely rewarding parts of my week. We are active at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and I am engaged with the Rotary Club of East Ascension. When I step away from work, I am usually fishing, duck hunting, out on the golf course, or getting beaten at pickleball by the rest of the family.
Audra Collett, CFP®
Director of Financial PlanningÂ
Nearly thirty years in, I still find the most meaningful part of this work in the moment when someone's financial picture finally becomes clear to them. The questions stop sounding so overwhelming, the decisions start making sense, and what felt impossible a few months earlier starts to look manageable. That has been the constant throughout a career that began not in financial planning but in accounting. Working on the finances side of a wealth management firm gave me a close look at what comprehensive financial planning actually requires, and I decided that was the work I wanted to do.
I earned my CFP® designation in 1996, graduated from Centenary College with degrees in both accounting and business, and spent time at Merrill Lynch before joining Trosclair Wealth Management. The accounting foundation I started with still guides my I approach on the technical side of planning: pulling together tax returns, investment statements, loan documents, and estate planning materials, analyzing everything in full, and developing recommendations that are specific to where each client actually is. My clients and colleagues describe me as dependable and genuinely committed to the work, and that is still the standard I hold myself to today.
One experience that has stayed with me is helping a woman who had unexpectantly lost her spouse. She came in terrified and unable to see a path forward. I organized her financial picture piece by piece, built a plan that gave her a clear view of her income and future, and slowed everything down so she had time to understand before she had to decide anything. Watching the fear in those early conversations give way to confidence and direction is the reason I continue doing this work.
Outside the office, I am a fitness coach who genuinely loves helping people push past the limits they set for themselves. When I am not coaching, I am usually in the kitchen testing a new recipe or baking something for whoever happens to be around. I grew up in Shreveport and now live in Baton Rouge with my husband, our three children, and our Shih-Tzu, Gumby. I serve as a Sustaining Advisor with the Junior League, Treasurer of the JPHA, and on the board of the Emerge Foundation. And while I am an avid traveler, my favorite place to be is wherever my family is gathered.
Cassie Remondet
Executive Assistant
I took this role because I believe the experience clients have between the major meetings matters just as much as what happens in them. My job is to make sure every interaction feels responsive, organized, and genuinely personal.
I joined Trosclair Wealth Management in 2021 after completing my Associate Degree in Business Administration at River Parishes Community College. Since then, I have built my work around staying ahead of what clients need: communicating clearly, keeping things organized, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Clients mention my response time, but what I am really focused on is making sure that every time someone reaches out, they feel well taken care of.
I grew up in Reserve, Louisiana, and now live in Garyville with my fiancé and our Golden Retriever, Biscuit. Outside of work, I am usually cooking, spending time outdoors, or looking for any good reason to be with family.

Kadee Hurst
Client Services Specialist
Good client service lives in the details. That principle shapes everything about how I approach my role: how quickly a question gets answered, how smoothly a process runs, and whether every interaction leaves a client feeling heard and well taken care of.
I joined Trosclair Wealth Management after several years working in distribution and operations, where I learned that people remember how well things are handled when they are under pressure. That background gave me a practical foundation in client service and sharpened my instinct for staying organized and anticipating what needs to happen next. Teammates and clients describe me as professional and detail-oriented, and I try to make sure that holds true in every interaction.
What keeps me engaged in this work is the long view. Helping families work toward goals that will matter for years and generations, and being a consistent, reliable presence throughout that process, is the part of this job I find most meaningful.
I grew up in Metairie and now live in Prairieville with my husband Freddie, our two kids Landon and Meredith, and our dog Roux, a golden and cocker spaniel mix with a big personality. Most of my time outside of work goes toward the sidelines of youth sporting events, with the occasional afternoon spent volunteering at my children's school.
